How can I purchase Van Sickle Paint? 

You can purchase selected Van Sickle Paint products on our website. For questions about the products, including application and surface preparation, or if you would like to order by phone, call 800-677-2468.

How long does it take to process and ship my order?

Processing: Please allow 2-4 business days for your order to be processed unless you order expedited shipping. Van Sickle does not process orders during weekends or holidays.

Shipping: We aim to provide you with the best shipping options available. Please select the option most efficient for your needs. Most products are restricted to be shipped via air and can only ship via ground transport.

Selected Van Sickle products may have regulations restricting their sale by region. We currently do not ship to California, Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or outside of the United States of America.

What about shipping during extreme cold or hot and humid weather?

Shipping paint and coatings during extreme cold or high heat and humidity can potentially damage our products. If coatings are exposed to these conditions for an extended period of time, they can become defective. During these conditions, we will likely not ship products where they will be held in shipping facilities over weekends or holidays. Van Sickle recommends a three day service or sooner when shipping products during extreme cold or during extreme heat for products that are sensitive to these conditions. Van Sickle will contact you if we choose to hold your order more than three days until we feel that shipping your product will allow it to deliver in a safe manner.

Van Sickle will not be responsible for any damage to product from cold or heat exposure, i.e., packages left on shipping docks, over a weekend or holiday, or at delivered at final destination where minimum environmental conditions are not maintained. We encourage you to plan ahead, and we will also work with you try to prevent these scenarios.

What if the product that I want is out of stock?

Van Sickle takes pride in maintaining good inventory on our stock products. If the product you want to purchase is out of stock, we will contact you within 48 hours to give you an estimated date when the product will be back in stock and available to ship. At that time you can confirm if you want to wait for the back order to ship, reselect a new product, or cancel your order for that product.

What is your return and refund policy? 

Stock Product: Product cannot be returned without prior permission. Only goods that have been unopened, are in good condition, and are free from weather damage can be returned. Unless for reasons other than our error in filling your order, a credit in the amount of the billed price for the goods, less a handling charge of 15% or more depending on the age of goods returned to us, will be assessed. The customer is responsible to ship pre-authorized goods to our warehouse as designated at the customer’s expense, freight prepaid, including all shipping and handling charges. The customer bears all risk of loss during a return shipment. A copy of the purchase invoice must accompany all returns along with a Return Authorization Number issued by Van Sickle. At the time the goods are returned and confirmed in good condition, credit will be issued to the customer.

SHORTAGES OR DAMAGE

Shortages or damage must be reported within two working days from receipt of shipment to secure proper adjustment by calling 800-677-2468. In making all shipments, our responsibility ceases when a delivery from the transportation company is signed for as complete. CLAIMS FOR LOSS, SHORT, OR DAMAGE MUST REFILED WITH THE DELIVERING CARRIER. Be sure to have the delivering carriers’ agent make notation on the freight bill of any damage or shortage. This will enable you to file and collect claim without affidavit. In case damage is not noted at time of delivery (concealed damage), notify delivering carrier and request inspection for the purpose of filing claim.

Custom Products: For products on our website noted as custom colors, packaged as custom, or otherwise noted as non-returnable, Van Sickle cannot refund or authorized a return. 

Do these products come with a warranty?

Since Van Sickle Paint does not control the application of its products nor the condition of the surfaces to which they are applied, Van Sickle offers the following “Satisfaction Guarantee” through the following Limited Warranty. We guarantee your satisfaction with the performance of this product when applied on a properly prepared surface according to the label directions. If you are not satisfied, please contact us at 800-677-2468. Van Sickle will ask for your purchase receipt and empty or partially used containers be presented for Satisfaction Guarantee review. At your option, Van Sickle will either furnish without charge an equivalent amount of replacement paint or refund your money equivalent to the amount of product needed to correct the condition. This warranty does not include the cost of labor for the application or removal of any paint coating. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.

Color Accuracy

Please be aware that we do our best to represent product colors as accurately as possible; however, we cannot guarantee that every monitor or device displays colors the same. The colors that you see displayed are a best possible representation of the product and are not a guaranteed match to the true color of the product once applied. 

Accuracy of Custom Tractor, Equipment, and Industrial Enamel Colors

If you are touching up surfaces that have been exposed to weather, sunlight, or extreme heat, the original color may have faded or been affected and may no longer retain the original color. Best practice would be to repaint your entire project for color uniformity.
